VBT PROFILING

With Velocity-Based Training (VBT) gaining popularity, many athletes are turning to velocity trackers to enhance their performance. As part of my coaching, I offer VBT profiling, where I use data-driven methods to create a personalised velocity profile for your lifts. This process allows us to replace traditional RPE with precise velocity targets, giving you a more objective way to measure effort, manage fatigue, and optimise training intensity.

 

As part of my MRes research in VBT for powerlifting, I’ve worked with over 16 athletes to refine this approach, combining academic knowledge with hands-on experience. I have extensive expertise using a variety of velocity trackers and can help you integrate this advanced tool into your training program.

 

 

By profiling your lifts, we can:

  • Identify your optimal load ranges for strength, power, and hypertrophy phases.

With my own powerlifting gym, I have the ideal space to assess your movement, make real-time adjustments, and provide recommendations that align with your training goals.
